What should I remember when mixing?
Do not over compress the music. If you do use excessive multiband compression then we will be unable make any worthwhile adjustments to the sound. Please also avoid repeated normalising of the music as it will gradually degrade the sound.
If you do want to ‘make it as loud as possible’ for impressive playbacks, then send an uncompressed copy for us to master from. We will still be able to make it loud (if that is what you want) but with far less distortion and unpleasant artefacts.
